Recent events on the stock exchanges are being now reviewed by network experts, in view of physical proximity advantages. At the New York Stock Exchange, trader sharpen their target marginc on Puts and on Cals. Actual access latency, may affect at what price actual share was sold or bought and at what profit and loss. It is now forseable that major traders would start rewire their servers to shorten the way to Exchanges servers. This just a few years ago would be unbelievable, but it seem something that is coming.
A lot of people who are unemployed or disabled for one reason or another, trade their shares on internet. A week agao a Turkish taxi driver in Munich was explaining how he is going to make money using his home computer with modem. Good luck. I am sure one day he would save enough to buy himself a cab.
